During the 2023, Halloween season, consumers in the United States spent about $3.6 billion on candy. A 16% jump from all previous highs.
Overall Halloween spending is predicted to over $12.2 billion. Up 15% from last year.
Holiday spending is expected to reach $957.3 billion to $966.6 billion in 2023, 3-4% more than in 2022.
Last year, the average consumer spent $1,430 on the holidays. This figure is expected to rise by 7% to $1,530 this year.
